Our July 2023 show is an Open Call for Entry and will feature Chippewa County in Photographs

Exhibit runs from July 7-July 29

Reception:  July 9

Forty-eight photographers.  Forty-eight hours.  Forty-eight sections of Chippewa county.  Anyone can be a photographer today.  We are looking for 48 photographers using phones, digital cameras, film cameras, alternative processes … anything photographic to participate in our July show Chippewa County in Photographs.


Fill out the application for consideration (application coming soon).  For those selected we will have a kick off Friday, June 2nd in which each participant will select his/her section of the map via a blind draw.  The next 48 hours you will photograph your section of the map.  You have until June 29 to select, print, and prepare your selection for hanging in the Alberta House for the July exhibition.


Prizes will be awarded $300 for best of show, $200 for runner-up and $100 for third place



  • Artwork must be original

  • Max size of 20 x 24

  • Artwork must be labeled with artist's name and title of work


  • Work must be ready to safely hang/display. (No sawtooth hangers please.)

  • Olive M. Craig Gallery will retain 30% commission on all works sold.

  • Artwork may not be removed from the exhibit prior to the closing date.

  • Please indicate price of work and if not for sale label "NFS"



  • The Olive M. Craig Gallery has the right to reiect an work that does not meet the requirements of the exhibit.

  • The Olive M. Craig Gallerv and the Sault Area Arts Council are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to artwork.
